vMix continue to add features and this year at NAB have a putting green on their stand to demonstrate their vMix instant replay system with four camera continuous instant replay system built right into vMix.
Announced at the show was the vMix Control Surface, available late May/early June for $1995:
vMix are also demoing vMix GO with up to 8 HD-SDI inputs, 2 HD-SDI Outputs + 2 HDMI Outputs, portable live production system with built in screen, professional audio input and output and four hot swap drive bays. If you have watched any of the Teradek Live show from NAB vMix GO is driving that live production.
Another interesting product is vMix Thunder a software/hardware bundle including the AJA Io 4K and vMix Pro for four camera live production with a Thunderbolt enabled PC laptop. A list of windows laptops supported is on the website.
With the announcement of instant replay there are now 6 versions of vMix available, with the basic version still being available free. 60 day demo versions can also be downloaded from the vMix website.
