In a live streamed (what else would you expect!) Livestream announced several new products today at NAB. They have really stepped up their game and we will see more Livestream products in use over the next year.
The Studio HD 550 switcher – a 5 input HDMI/SDI 1 output, portable production unit at $7999. This includes a built in screen, carrying handle and bag.
Studio Surface Go – a compact USB control surface priced at $899
Studio Software 3.0 – the software behind all the Livestream studio systems and available separately at $799 for teh full version with a limited free version also available.
Key new features of Studio 3.0 include:
- 4K UHD support fro Blackmagic 4K capture cards
- Chroma keying
- Remote Interview feature – a webRTC based system with a queue (this looks very good!) Goto to 14:15 in the video for a demo.
- Bonding support for 3G/4G modems
- More inputs from 5 to 25
- Remote support of cameras and OSX desktops
